About Me

Pre-College

The St. Louis Metropolitan Area has always been home. I grew up and attended school in Columbia, Illinois all of my life, having graduated from Columbia High School in 2003. After graduation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  My time in the Marine Corps was spent in San Diego, CA; Jacksonville, NC; Kansas City, MO; Okinawa, Japan and Iraq. I was honorably discharged as an E-5 (Sergeant) after serving from 2003-2007.

Education

Upon returning home from Japan I enrolled in classes at Southwestern Illinois College to obtain an Associate’s degree. I then attended the University of Illinois at Springfield where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2011. Knowing that I wanted something more and that I wanted to be able to directly help people with their problems, I applied to and was accepted at Saint Louis University School of Law in 2011;  I have since graduated and passed the Illinois bar exam.  In addition, to being a licensed attorney, I am also a licensed real estate broker in Illinois. 

Personal Life

I am married to an amazingly beautiful woman named Amanda.  We currently reside in Millstadt, IL with our awesome dog Lucy who we adopted from the Monroe County Humane Society.

I am a member of VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, IL as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6165 in Columbia, IL.  Professionally, I am a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association and the St. Clair County Bar Association.  Additionally, I am a member of the Realtor Association of Southwestern Illinois, Illinois Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
